Make sure your home is fresh.
Homes with cooking, smoking or pet odors are less desirable to buyers. If a home has an odor, do not try to cover it up... but rather solve the problem.
Privacy consideration. Buyers need privacy during viewings. Adults, children and pets can keep buyers from feeling at ease. During showings be out of the house if possible. Lights on is a welcome sign. Whether it is day or night, rain or shine... turn on all lights, or let your realtor turn them on, for each showing. Sounds. Stereo on low volume is fine, but quiet is often better. |
